Made entirely of aluminum, Salsbury 3500 series USPS approved vertical mailboxes feature a durable powder coated finish available in an ALUMINUM FINISH, BRASS FINISH, IVORY, GREEN, or BRONZE FINISH. Vertical mailboxes can be either SURFACE MOUNTED on a wall or other flat surface or RECESSED MOUNTED into a rough opening. Vertical mailboxes can receive mail either from the US POSTAL SERVICE or from a PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL. Units feature 5-1/2” W x 16-1/4” H extruded aluminum doors. Each door includes a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with two (2) keys and a 2-1/2” W x 5/8” H indentation to accommodate a label (included) identifying the tenant’s name and/or box number. VERTICAL MAILBOXES - SURFACE MOUNTED - USPS ACCESS

Salsbury vertical 3500 series USPS approved mailboxes are ideal for apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings and many other applications. Surface mounted units mount directly to a wall or other flat surface and are secured with mounting hardware through the back panel. Custom engraved self-adhesive placards (related item #3567) are available as an option upon request. A 4-3/4'' W x 1/2'' H outgoing mail slot (related item #3569) is also available as an option upon request. It will be located in the far left door of the unit unless otherwise specified. If a mail slot is requested, order unit with one (1) additional compartment than the total number of tenants receiving mail.

HORIZONTAL MAILBOXES-FRONT OR REAR LOADING

Made entirely of aluminum, Salsbury 3600 series U.S.P.S. approved horizontal mailboxes are available as FRONT LOADING units or REAR LOADING units. If the unit is front loading, a front loading door panel swings on a continuous hinge. One mailbox opening is required for a master postal or commercial lock and cannot be used for mail distribution, however, the opening is readily convertible to receive outgoing letters through a mail slot. If the unit is rear loading, all openings are usable. Units are available with standard “A” size doors and larger “B” size doors. Units with standard “A” size doors are available 3, 4 or 5 wide and 5, 6 OR 7 HIGH. Units with larger “B” size doors are available 2 wide and 5, 6 OR 7 HIGH. Horizontal mailboxes can receive mail from either the US POSTAL SERVICE or from a PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL. Units feature anodized aluminum doors. Each door includes a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with two (2) keys and a 2'' W x 5/8'' H clear plastic card holder (card included) to identify the tenant’s name and/or box number. CLUSTER BOX UNITS (CBU’s) - FRONT LOADING

Made of aluminum, 3300 series U.S.P.S. approved pedestal cluster box units are accessed from the front through easy opening master door panels. Each door includes a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with a dust/rain shield and three (3) keys. Each CBU mailbox door has a 1” H number (1-8, 1-12, 1-16, 1-13 for Type I, Type II, Type III and Type IV, respectively). One additional compartment in each unit is identified as an “Outgoing Mail” receptacle and includes a weather protection flap and a 10-3/4” W x 1” H mail slot. Each CBU includes at least one (1) parcel locker which offers tenants a convenient way to receive packages on site. The durable and corrosion resistant units can be mounted on the optional pedestals (#3385 for both #3313 and #3316 and #3395 for #3308 and #3312) or a base of your choice. ALUMINUM MAILBOXES

Salsbury's private access aluminum mailboxes are ideal for use in colleges and schools, private postal centers, government agencies, corporate mailrooms, military bases, police stations and many other applications.

There are three different systems of aluminum mailboxes. The STANDARD SYSTEM mailboxes are 23-1/4” W x 30” H x 15-1/2” D. They are designed to stack two (2) high and mount adjacent to each other or between wall studs. The RACK LADDER SYSTEM units are 23-1/4” W x 12-1/8” H x 15-1/2” D. They are designed to be installed between rack ladders. Rack ladders support five (5) units to form a column of units. The DATA DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM units are also 23-1/4” W x 12-1/8” H x 15-1/2” D. These boxes include 3/4” H door slots and are hinged horizontally at the bottom. They are also designed to be installed between rack ladders.

ALUMINUM MAILBOXES - STANDARD SYSTEM - REAR LOADING

Salsbury 2200 series standard system aluminum mailboxes have 1/4'' extruded aluminum doors that are powder coated silver. Each door includes a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with two (2) keys. Alternative locking systems (see related items) are available. The mailbox compartments have open backs (locking rear covers - related item #2250 - are available as an option upon request) and are constructed of 20 gauge cold rolled steel. The mailbox compartments are constructed of 20 gauge cold rolled steel and powder coated tan. They are designed to stack two (2) high and mount adjacent to each other or between wall studs. Mailbox units have the same outside dimensions. Rear loading units can also be used in Free-Standing Rotary Mail Centers and Free-Standing Roll-A-Bout Mail Centers.

If Rear Loading: Units have open backs. Locking rear covers (related item #2050) are available as an option upon request.

Heavy duty Free-Standing Rotary Mail Centers are convenient when space is limited and a professional mailbox system is desired. A matching rear cover (related item #3125) is available as an option upon request. To operate, the postal employee unlocks the unit and rotates the inner cabinet 180 degrees so that the rear of the mailboxes are facing the front. After distributing the mail, the inner cabinet is rotated back 180 degrees to the tenant access position. Made of aluminum, Salsbury 4200 series pedestal drop boxes are available in three (3) different sizes. Model #4275 is 15-3/4'' W, model #4276 is 23'' W and model #4277 is 30-1/4'' W. All pedestal drop boxes have the same height and depth. Standard units are accessed from the rear through a two (2) point latching master door on the 4275 and two (2) master doors on the 4276 and 4277. Each door swings open over 90 degrees for loading convenience. Standard units include a locking “T” handle on the rear door(s), a weather protection hood and a mail flap on the front of the unit. Units can also be customized (related item #4280) with front and/or rear doors, larger slots or no slots, multiple compartments (2, 4, 6, 8, etc.) or as specified to meet your requirements. MAIL CHESTS

Made entirely of aluminum, Salsbury 4300 series U.S.P.S. approved mail chests are available in two (2) sizes, standard (#4350) and large (#4375). Both units feature a front and rear access locking door. Mail is deposited through the front on all models. Each unit includes an outgoing mail tray, a lock with two (2) keys on each door (keyed alike) and an adjustable red signal flag. Units are available in a black, white, green or silver powder coated finish. Standard mail chests can be mounted on the optional bolt mounted (#4365) or in-ground mounted (#4385) aluminum pedestals or a base of your choice. Large mail chests can be mounted on the optional bolt mounted (#4395) or in-ground mounted (#4385) aluminum pedestals or a base of your choice. ORDER PEDESTALS SEPARATELY.
