The DS1513-1 Data Safe has a wide range of interiors for all magnetic media, making it a versatile and economical choice. The DS1817-1 gives you all of the same features as the DS1513-1, but in a mid-size unit. Both carry a UL Class 125 1-hour fire and impact rating. This means they provide the highest level of protection needed for computer media.

FireKing offers a full line of Data Safes for high-capacity users. For businesses that have larger capacity requirements, we offer our spacious FireKing DS2319-2, DS4319-2, DS5337-2, and DS6119-2 Data Safes. Their walls and doors provide the ultimate in protection by incorporating layers of heat-absorbing material, fireproof insulating foam and fireproofing with a tough steel casing. Three-way boltwork ensures that doors remain shut if a building collapses during a fire or if a forced entry is attempted. You¹ll also rest easy knowing your computer media is safe, because each one carries a UL Class 125 2-hour fire and impact rating.

FireKing® 1-Hour Fire Safes
If it¹s important that it¹s safe from fire, then it has to be a FireKing. Designed to provide economical, but uncompromised fire protection for important personal documents, this series carries a UL Class 350 1-hour fire rating and 3-wheel hand-change combination lock with 1,000,000 combinations, offering excellent fire protection and basic theft security. Available in three sizes, in graphite color only. Protects Documents For At Least One Hour In Temperatures Over 1700°. The UL Class 350 1-hour fire rating means that the internal temperature of the safe will not exceed 350° for at least one hour when exposed to external temperatures of over 1700°. This exhaustive testing proves FireKing safes are built to survive the worst conditions.

FireKing® 2-Hour With Impact Fire Safes
These are premium home and small office record safes, offering enhanced durability and protection. These economical safes feature a full UL Class 350 2-hour fire rating with impact. Heavy-duty hinges offer smooth door operation for the life of the safe. These safes provide important security features such as 3-way boltwork and a UL-listed relocking device with an integrated door hardplate. They offer you complete peace of mind for your important personal documents, at a most affordable price.
Protection against temperatures above 1500° and 30-foot drops
The UL impact test calls for the safe to be heated to 1550° for 30 minutes (1638° for 45 minutes for a 2-hour fire-rated safe) then dropped onto concrete rubble from a height of 30 feet. Then it is inverted and reheated for another 30 minutes (45 minutes for a 2-hour fire-rated safe). The safe must maintain its integrity throughout the test and protect all contents.
Why is impact testing important?
In many fires, roofs will cave in or the floor will collapse, destroying everything under them. In such an event, you¹ll want to know your safe is impact-rated. All come standard with one shelf and a bolt-down kit. Pictured here with a second shelf and an optional electronic lock.
