16 Door Network Access Control

PIAB-KIT
Multi-door proximity access control system (16 Door Maximum)

This system is less expensive than systems that require a controller for every two doors you install a card reader and electric strike on. Because the controller handles up to four doors at one time, and the controllers and electric strikes are powered by the power supply inside the controller, there is no need for additional equipment that would be used for other access control systems. These savings are passed on to our customers.

DESCRIPTION
ProxSoft is the companion software that provides full control and management of the Prox-in-a-Box proximity access control system directly from a PC. Activities that had to be performed from the programming keypad can be performed directly from a PC locally or remotely via modem.
The ProxSoft Event Table logs system events and displays event-related information, such as date, reader number, device description, event description and user name.
Using the ProxSoft you can easily define up to 8 time zones and 4 holiday types. Each proximity key can be used in two of these predefined time zones.

SPECIFICATIONS
System Requirements:
Windows 95/98 operating system
Pentium II or higher
64 MB hard disk
20 MB available disk space
VGA graphic accelerator
Multi-serial port RS-232 card (optional)

RDR-2
26-bit Wiegand-compatible proximity reader

APPLICATIONS
Commercial and industrial

FEATURES
* Easily define and manage up to 3000 users
* Log and display system events
* Define eight time zones and four holiday types
* Control the Prox-in-a-Box remotely via regular phone lines
* Backup valuable system data and user information
* Quick and easy proximity key enrollment with RDR-PC

 DESCRIPTION
RDR-2 is an external proximity reader for access control systems. RDR-2 is 26-bit Wiegand compatible and can be used with any other compatible access control system.
When presenting a proximity tag or card to the reader, it transmits a coded RF signal back to the reader, which then communicates the received data to the controller. If the access card is valid, the controller unlocks the door. It is recommended to install RDR-2 outside the protected area, and the control unit inside the protected area.

SPECIFICATIONS
Format: 26-bit Wiegand serial communication
Indicators: Tricolor LED (Green, Red, Amber)
